My name is Kwanza Lippitt and I am the Assistant Principal at Anne Street Elementary School. I am thoroughly excited to serve the Anne Street Community! Before becoming the Assistant Principal, I worked as a Language and Literacy Specialist at the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement. Additionally, I served as an Instructional Coach and Classroom Teacher in Fulton County Schools for over 8 years. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful girls. We enjoy being parents, traveling, and watching our family grow.
I am proud to be a member of a team that focuses on the whole child (academically, socially, and emotionally). In my vision of student learning, I do my best to ensure that all students are afforded the opportunity to actively participate in challenging and engaging experiences that help them become productive and responsible scholars. I realize that educating your child is a privilege as well as, a tremendous responsibility; I will do my best to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience.
As a parent, you are the most important person in your child’s life, and we must work together for your child’s success. If you support me with your child’s academic goals and positive behaviors, I will ensure that you are well informed about the areas of success and growth for your child. With school and home working together, I know your child will have a successful year.
